EAST-METRO AREA ===================================== Registration Process for Entry-level Clinics To register for any entry-level class in Michigan, please read and complete all of the following instructions. Classes are limited to 40 participants unless otherwise noted. Classes in many areas will fill up quickly. Waiting lists will not be kept. REGISTRATION PROCESS:
1. Send
an e-mail to the person listed as the contact person for the
session you

Students born
before 1/1/1990 will be required to complete the risk
management process found at
www.msysareferee.net two weeks prior to the first day of
class as it takes about 10 days to complete the process and
for you to receive an eMail containing the Approval certificate;
please print the eMail and bring it to the first day of class.
Students cannot be registered as referees without completing the
risk management process. 3. The course fee is $50 and must be mailed to the contact person for the class within 10 days of the e-mail to hold the slot. Class placements will not be guaranteed to persons who have not pre-paid the course fee. Checks should be made payable to Michigan Referee Committee. There is no provision this year for on-line or credit card payments.

ALLOWED 5. An e-mail will be returned to you upon receipt of payment confirming your class registration. Please bring a copy of this confirmation with you to the first class. Information and Expectations:

The Michigan
Referee Committee reserves the right to cancel sessions with 2. Class participants must attend the entire session. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please DO NOT apply for a class if you are unable to attend all sessions in their entirety. Soccer games, practices, tournaments, or other events are not valid reasons for missing class. Instructors do not have the authority to transfer students to other clinics or portions of other clinics. 3. Students are expected to take notes and participate actively in class. Students must pass an exam with a score of 74% or higher at the conclusion of the clinic in order to receive USSF certification. No refunds will be given to failing students. 4. Electronic devices such as Game Boys, I-Pods, or MP3 players are not permitted in class. 5. Pagers and cell phones (silence mode) are permitted. Cell phones may only be used on breaks or at the conclusion of class. 6. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and can be cause for removal from class. Determination of such behavior is at the discretion of the Instructor and can include such behaviors as texting, sleeping, etc. Items Required at Clinic:
